Decrease in reproductive potential and probability of conception occurs every year in life of a married couple. Modern approaches to diagnostics and treatment of barreness demand application of the modern methods which have proved the efficiency. At absence of pregnancy within 12 months of an active sexual life for patients till 35 years and within 6 months for patients after 35 years or at the age of a spouse after 40 years ; even before the expiration of the above-stated terms at presence of factors of low fertility to which concern tube pregnancy with involving both uterus tubes in the anamnesis, amenorea, numerous contacts within two years and more with various sexual partners without the use of methods of the contraception, not accompanied with pregnancy, radiation sickness, absence of genitals and in cases, when the reserve of ovaries is in a condition close to an exhaustion (at the age after 40 years, after a radiation injury or chemotherapy, etc.), at premature and timely menopause. After an establishment of the diagnosis of barreness the period of inspection, conservative and operative treatment without the use of methods of an auxiliary reproduction should not exceed two years for patients till 35 years and should not exceed 1 year for patients after 35 years. Prior to the beginning of conservative treatment of barreness it is necessary to exclude heavy man's barreness, the tube factor of barreness which demand the usage of methods of an auxiliary reproduction immediatedly.
